Kantata Audio is delighted to announce its latest event which will be on Saturday 13th January 2024 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Shawsbridge, Belfast.

The event will feature Vertere Acoustics with their fabulous range of turntables and cables. Touraj Moghaddam, the CEO and designer of their products will be in attendance along with Mike Burn, the UK Sales Manager .

Touraj and Mike will be doing scheduled demos and presentations. In between will be an opportunity for informal music and to chat to Mike & Touraj about all things analogue. This is slightly more formal than past events, but anyone who has experienced Vertere at any of the UK shows will know that it is worthwhile.

Heavily featured will be the two new cartridges recently launched by Vertere - the XtraX (MC £5,800) and the Dark Sabre (MM £1,450).

The event is still at the planning stage, but there will be multiple rooms. Vertere is confirmed, so I though I'd get the date in your diaries.

Join us on Thursday 26th October as we present the next event in the highly regarded 'Running the Groove' tour with Touraj Moghaddam, founder and head designer of Vertere Acoustics.

Touraj will join the KJ West One team to showcase some of his rare and interesting records using one of our high-end systems and his Vertere RG-1 turntable. As well as playing some unique pressings, Touraj will be able to discuss the design and engineering principles behind designs. A great opportunity to learn from one of the UK's great analogue designers.

This event will also be a chance to experience something new from Vertere for the very first time.

We plan to use a selection of reference level equipment for this evening. The set up will include the Vertere RG-1 Reference Groove record player with the Reference tonearm, Soulution amplification, RCM Audio's The Big Phono and WIlson Audio Chronosonic XVX speakers. We will use Vertere HB cabling throughout.

To keep the atmosphere comfortable and relaxed, spaces will be limited so don't delay in registering your place. We will be running two sessions for this event. One at 4pm and one at 6pm, please select the session you would like to attend.

We are delighted to announce that Kantata Audio has been appointed a Vertere retail partner in Northern Ireland. To celebrate this, Mike Burn (UK Sales Manager for Vertere) will be on site for an open day on Thursday 3rd August 2023 from midday until late. We are delighted to be joining Mohan Veloo and the Audio Exotics team in Singapore for a Vertere Masterclass on Sunday 9th April 2023.

The Masterclass comprises presentations and live demonstrations from Vertere’s Founder and CEO, Touraj Moghaddam. Participants will discover:

• The crucial role of the Motor Drive on record playback

• The importance of proper cabling with valuable tips and tricks

• Electricity Mains connection and how the set-up impacts on the systems performance

• The overlooked geometry between the record player, tonearm and cartridge and how it affects performance

• The different LP cutting and mastering techniques, starting with the source cutting files vs LP or Acetate

Touraj will be demonstrating this on the award-winning Vertere DG-1S, MG-1 and SG-1 record players, as well as sharing the Vertere philosophy with guests.
