Introducing Dynamic Groove Record Player

 The new Vertere DG-1 record player is our most affordable design; the easiest to set up and use, and also contains some of our most innovative thinking. The DG-1 is as close as you’re going to get to ‘plug and play’ in a high-end, high-performance record player, and yet packed with innovations.

The new DG-1 Dynamic Groove Record Player is designed for those who are driven by performance but is looking for a simple setup and ease of use.

To design a record player that retails for £2850 (including cartridge) required a back to fundamentals approach. Taking our existing ideas and reducing material quality and slackening tolerances would not be the Vertere way.

Back to fundamentals involved examining every element of the design, rethinking the way turntables work, and removing every superfluous element that got in the way of the ultimate aim: getting the listener, as close as possible to their music.

From the plinth to the arm and its bearings, everything has been redesigned and re-engineered, developing some of the basic principles of a record-playing system while completely rethinking others.

The result is an elegant record player that looks like no other, but draws on the engineering of the reference models to deliver outstanding performance and ease of operation at a newly affordable price.
